Lamborghini reveals URUS its ultimate 4×4 SUV ,AND IT’S OFFICIALLY THE WORLD’S FASTEST SUV.
Lamborghini, the manufacturer of luxury supercars and sports car, on Tuesday unveiled the long-awaited SUV Urus in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy.Lamborghini on its website defines Urus as a super sports car soul with the functionality typical for a SUV and as the world’s first Super Sport Utility vehicle.
Lamborghini URUS Powered by a 650 horsepower, 4.0 litre, twin-turbocharged V8, Lambo claims the Urus can hit 100 kilometres per hour in just 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 305km/h, besting the Bentley Bentayga’s 301km/h mark.The engine is paired with an automatic eight-speed gearbox and the car is also setup with all-wheel drive and torque vectoring. A plethora of driving modes tune the car to optimise performance in various different environments.According to Lamborghini, this makes the Urus the fastest SUV in the world.
Lamborghini seems to have passed that test in terms of providing the superlative performance expected from machines bearing the Raging Bull badge, with the long-awaited Urus boasting a 190-mph top speed, 3.5-second 0-60 mph acceleration and 650 horsepower.
